In Dutch architectural culture and urban planning, after the influence of De Stijl, the functionalist Nieuwe Bouwen of the 1920s and the Reconstruction of the 1950s, there is a new modernism: formal and rational. The architecture of Rem Koolhaas has had a lot of influence in this. Since the 1990s, more international attention has been paid to Dutch architecture. The combination of realism and experimental construction, the continuation of modernism and the projects of young architects, arouse a lot of admiration abroad. Below is a selection of the available aerial photographs of architecture. More available architectural aerial photos can be found via search image bank in the navigation panel on the left of the page.
