Redevelopment and new construction of Tripolis-Park Zuidas Amsterdam South
The new building is by architect Winy Maas of MVRDV. The Tripolis complex was designed by Aldo van Eyck in the 1990s and is a municipal monument. He designed the building in the 1990s to save the adjacent Burgerweeshuis from 1960.
Tripolis will be redeveloped into Tripolis-Park, an 'eco-friendly' campus site and will become the international headquarters of the tech company Uber. A Landscraper, a new apartment building, will be built on this business campus, connected to the three existing monumental Tripolis buildings. Photo John Gundlach
