Koning Willem II Stadion Gemeentelijk Sportpark Tilburg
Op 31 mei 1995 opende het vernieuwde stadion, dat opvalt door de golvende dakconstructie. Het voetbalstadion huisvest 14.500 plaatsen. Enkele jaren later werd het gerenoveerd. De sportaccommodatie werd gebruikt tijdens de UEFA Womens 2017. In 2018 zijn er plannen gemaakt voor een nieuwe sportpark. Op de plek waar nu het Koning Willem II Stadion staat wordt al sinds 1920 gevoetbald. De naam van het stadion verwijst naar Koning Willem II, de tijdens zijn leven in de 19e eeuw het liefst in Tilburg was en er ook overleden is. Foto John Gundlach
