Memeleiland bodemsanering kunstmatig eiland Houthavens Amsterdam-West
Ooit was dit gebied belangrijk voor de houthandel. Het ligt tussen de Tasmanstraat en de Haparandaweg. Na de sanering werd het opnieuw opgespoten met zand om het gebied bouwrijp te maken. Sinds 2014 wordt er op het werkterrein aan de eilandconstructie gewerkt. Op het eiland worden koopwoningen gebouwd. Foto John Gundlach.
